The Boshin War rages as Emperor Kōmei orders all westerners expelled out of isolationist Japan. We are the Nagaoka, a proud people, with a penchant for modern warfare. We will march to bring justice to our people under the guidance of our great Shogun, Tokugawa Iemochi! This internal turmoil will temper Japan, and a great empire will rise from the ashes!
