Today we went over even more fallacies! There are various false generalization fallacies, all of which could be resolved through the proper use of statistics. There's also a couple versions of moving goalposts, in which people refuse to admit they're wrong.
Appeal to Consequences, though, is the most powerful of them, because we have a very strong tendency to confuse what we want to be true with what we believe to be true. Be careful of this one.
