In this gameplay, Skynet is carrying ALL of the items amassed from the Entire Game, with the exception of the Enclave Main Base stuffs (because the game just kept crashing while he was in that area with his massive load)

He’s carrying a total load of 15,998 lbs, and becomes the Fallout 2 Record Holder for the Greatest Weight carried by a single companion in a standard F2 game (so far)

F2 gamers now have the exciting challenge to try and outdo this feat


Rules:

1. The date must be shown – which must be on or before July 25, 2254 (within the standard 13 year time limit for the game)

2. Total weight carried must be shown onscreen

3. Fair Play only. (No hacking/cheating/usage of Mods/no tampering with the game codes/etc.)

4. Challengers can only play within regular game parameters. Once the end game screen/s appear – then that’s it, Game Over.

Cause someone might try going to the oil rig early so as to retrieve the items there, and then continue the game after the ending. Sorry, that’s not allowed in this challenge

But you know what, that will be an Interesting Contest/Challenge all together – to be the Inventory King/Queen of Fallout 2. Where players play on indefinitely to compete for the Greatest Load that their designated single companion can carry. I'll give 2 exciting hints: rove the areas around Broken Hills cause the Unity Patrols there carry those really heavy weapons. The scorpion tail is actually a very heavy item, weighing at 20 lbs lolz (now compare that to a rocket launcher which weighs 15 lbs - double lolz)

Gameplay notes: I didn’t exploit the infinite money bug; nor the double mutagenic serum glitch, nor the double economic data disc bug; nor the unfair steal skill usage in San Francisco, nor the double ankh talisman glitch; nor the infinite experience glitch with Chuck Stodgers in Broken Hills/Chris in Navarro, etc.

The Restoration Project version is of a different category because it has additional areas


Cautionary notes:

a) When the date has reached December 2253, don’t bring your superloaded companion to the Enclave oil rig because the game will freeze (the game is unable to handle this extreme exploit)

b) Also on December 2253 and onwards, do not enter any of the specific locations (green ones) shown on the F2 map while having your supercarrier with you, because the same game freezing problem will occur.

Instead, just pass over them and roam the wastelands til right before the game end date of July 25, 2254


Additional: a Ford F-450 truck (2020 model) weighs 15,000 lbs; and a fully grown elephant as well


It’s So Satisfying reliving the memories of almost the entire game as you go thru Skynet’s vast inventory, with that very cool music in the background – oh yeah
