In my quest to repopulate the wasteland using the console, I have attempted to establish resident 'tribes' if you will in selected structures, demolished buildings and various outdoor areas within the DC locale. I find it fascinating to watch the interaction and to see how the AI kicks in when something unusual happens. Via trial and error I have discovered who can tolerate who and what characters are total psycho's. Many of the NPC's will not stay in their new home, but will always try and return to where they are "supposed" to be. So you have to 'zap' them as soon as you see they are going home...
