A quick tour of my fully legit (and now a fully legit video of my...) factory. The videos I'd shown were all obviously using godmode just to get through things and show things off. This is what I've done with actual, normal gameplay.
This also shows that its pretty easy for even a new character to get building a factory early on - I'm only level 13 with this character and while I have been spending the majority of my caps on obtaining more building supplies, I've not been finding myself unable to play normally either.

I'm a natural hoarder though, is something which has to be said. So if you're like me and know what junk is valuable and take as much as your little arms can carry - this is something completely feasible for any character, brand new or what. Yes it will take some time to get the factory online, but it can absolutely be done.
