OK this exploit is a little trick to pull off. First thing you want to do is get dogmeat as a companion next tell him to move away from you cause if hes to close it will pick up the item to quickly and it wont work. After hes a good distance away go into your inventory and drop whatever item you want to duplicate on the floor. Now tell dogmeat to pick up that item. As soon as hes about to put his head down quickly pick up that item before he does. His animation will still pick up that item even though you already picked it up and he spawn a duped item instead and drop it right next to you. that's all it takes to dupe items here. This glitch sadly doesn't work on armor.
