In this video I talk about if there is anything to do after you defeat the Mechanist. The short answer is kind of. You can do a side quest over and over with no real benefit except parts and robot armor mods. Strangely enough if you kill the robots in the room with the mechanist she gives you quests even if she didn't before you went on a mini killing spree.
