Fallout 4: Legacy of the Vaultborn | No Crafting | Alternate Start Modded Survival Mode | Part 13 (Twitch live stream archive)
This video is a Twitch live stream archive.
Once upon a time, a girl named Nora left the comfort of Vault 101 to begin a new life in the Capital Wasteland. Roughly 10 years later, she finds herself in the Commonwealth looking for a place known only as "the Institute." My new Fallout 4 playthrough, "Legacy of the Vaultborn," brings my Fallout 3 character into Fallout 4.
In the years after vanquishing the Enclave and restoring Project Purity, Nora became disillusioned with the Brotherhood of Steel after the rise of Arthur Maxson as Elder. She recalled a conversation she had many years ago in Rivet City, which a man who called himself Dr. Zimmer. He had some to the Capital Wasteland from a place called the Commonwealth to rack down an android who had escaped a placed Zimmer referred to as “the Institute.”
This conversation had piqued Nora’s interest and she wanted to know more about this “Institute” and it’s advance technology and scientific research. But at the time, she had other matters to attend to such as the threat posed by the Enclave, repelling a potential alien invasion and finding a home for Bryan Wilks. She hadn’t thought about Dr. Zimmer or the Institute for years.
But one day, she had enough of the Brotherhood under Elder Maxson and she left the Capital Wasteland to head north to track down the Institute and discover for herself if it was the bastion of scientific research that Dr. Zimmer made it out to be. She had no idea what she would find…
“Legacy of the Vaultborn” continues the story of the character in my Fallout 3 playthrough “Nora meets the Capital Wasteland” (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEz4m9Umu10DcPLJrm6g4GlCmP1xFM_db)
