26CHESTNUT LODGE by Elianora; this weeks Fallout 4 mod highlight covers a player home that you can relax and recuperate in. Yes, Elinora is back with another of their fantastic, lore friendly player homes. Chestnut Lodge, along with other homes such as Sanctuary Bunker, Malborough Mansion and the Faction Housing Overhall all come with a plethora of custom clutter and well thought out designs. Chestnut Lodge is definitely a personal favourite of mine, as it's small, cramped and cosy. Perfect for cracking open a cold one or sitting around a camp fire with friends. The home has wonderful scenic views of the Chestnut Hillock Reservoir pond, and is far away from any pesky raiders who want all you have.
Like I say this mod has been thought out really well, everything seems to have a logic, cutlery on the floor, a coffee cup by the terminal etcetera etcetera.There are custom posters and even some unique features, such as mannequins that can be changed from male to female, change the radio station or even change textures in the bedroom. The mod also comes with a basement which can be found outside the home, which is empty, allowing you to build to your hearts content. Overall super impressive mod and something I will be keeping in my load-order, particularly when I've finished my playthrough.

Are you tired of aimlessly roaming the wastes searching for more junk to add to your neverending collection? Maybe you've completed the main quest line, you've found Shaun, the commonwealth is either safe from the institute, or under your control. Maybe your adventuring days are over and you want to settle down or you just want a break from the super mutants that might violent and horrifically rip to shreads. Well this week I have a mod that will cater to all your needs.
Welcome to the CHESTNUT LODGE player home by ELIANORA, a little beautifully designed home, situated in the calm and tranquil Chestnut Hillock Reservoir. The house is a stones throw from Diamond City perfect for all of your supplies, and close to Vault 81 for if you ever get lonely. Elianora is no newbie to modding, they have created a whole barrel full of mods, mainly settlement and player home mods, but any of you who love fallout 4 mods will know who they are. And as usual they never fail to impress. The level of detail that has been put into this mod really is incredible, I can't imagine how long this would have taken just to decorate. The place looks lived in, it has cluttered bookshelves, things that are purposely messy and cultlery on the table. Everything has a logic to it and has been placed for a reason, you can look at parts of the home and really get an understanding of what the mod author or previous owner was thinking at the time. And Elinora always goes that bit further by adding tons of custom posters, furniture and general clutter, you're always noticing something new, which I think is brilliant you get excited just walking around and looking at stuff in this home. I also really enjoy the small and cramped aspect of this home. I personally don't like the giant mansion homes or castles, a little log cabin, a get away house feel more personal and realistic like you yourself could have built it. It's also a nice design challenge when you're limited for space.
So not only do we have all this custom clutter, there are also a number of features that enable you to have all you need to survive in the commonwealth......
