In this mod review I cover a mod that adds a new weapon to Fallout 4. This is the SVD which is also known as the Dragunov Sniper Rifle. This weapon comes integrated into the level lists, but you can also craft it at the chemistry station. This semi auto sniper rifle hits hard but also shoots pretty quick. It uses its own custom 7.62x54R ammunition which you can craft for yourself at the chemistry station. Unfortunately, you can only craft one bullet at a time and the cost per bullet is quite high which i feel like is something that needs to get fixed. Speaking of getting fixed, which this weapon does have a lot of attachments some of them don't work. There are scopes without reticles or foregrips that don't have textures. These bugs do make it hard to recommend this weapon. You can do all kinds of cool things with the attachments, although it is needlessly complicated by having certain attachments only work with certain barrels and none of it very intuitive. It has really nice animations too, both in the first and third person, but it doesn't work with power armor at all. Overall, it's a good weapon with a lot of potential but too many issues hold it back from being truly great.
