With the basher perk leveled up to it's highest, you gain a chance to critically hit your enemy when you bash them with your gun. Since the shredder part of the minigun bashes rapidly, you can get pretty consistent critical hits and with the Lucky prefix dealing 2x damage for Critical Hits, this weapon should be capable of heaps of bashing damage!
