UPDATE: we've since checked Fallout 4's mod save system, and all original saves are accessible by choosing a 'default' profile from the main menu. Once a mod is selected, a new variant of your profile is made with an 'm' attached to it. Thankfully, you can easily switch back to reclaim your original saves from here. Our mistake!
