Hi guys,

In this video I cover an image that was posted on IGN's website that shows a map off all 6 biomes we will be seeing in Fallout 76. The map looks like it is going to be the most diverse Fallout in terms of different environments. We have THE FOREST, SAVAGE DIVIDE, TOXIC VALLEY, THE MIRE, CRANBERRY BOG & ASH HEAP.

Hi guys, so today we are taking a look at an image that IGN posted in one of their articles on their website a couple of days ago. As always before we start I'd like to credit the reddit user bugsixx who posted a direct link to the image. So the article that IGN posted focuses on the various locations and biomes we can expect to see in Fallout 76. I'm not going to be focusing on the complete article today but please feel free to read it. I'll put the link in the description.

But we are going to look at the most interesting part of the article which is this image of the 6 different biomes we are likely to see in the game. Now please note this map is based on the fan made map of the Fallout 76 world so is not 100% accurate. Basically someone was able to splice together various images that we saw in trailers etc. into a pretty much complete map of Fallout 76, but obviously this still isn't going to completely correct. Also the biomes are visible on the fan made map but the IGN one is a lot less cluttered and easier to see.

Anyway, the 6 biomes are The Forest, Toxic Valley, Savage Divide, The Mire, Ash Heap and Cranberry Bog. So as you can see there is a load of different areas for us to explore and each with a quite significantly different Environments, Although I imagine The Mire and Cranberry Bog will be quite similar. There are going to be areas that have had little to no effect on them from the nuclear war and others that are heavily impacted. So that's pretty much it for the map apart from the few map markers which are named on the left hand side. However I wanted to do something a little different and try to recreate these biomes in Fallout 4 with mods.

So lets start off with an easy one... the forest! Obviously there are a lot of green mods for Fallout 4 but I think the one that captures the landscapes we have seen in the trailers the most RUSTBELT FLORA by SPIFFYSKYTROOPER which adds in a whole lot of trees with an autumnal colour scheme. If you take a look at the Fallout 76 - Official trailer you will see it's very similar.

Next up we're going to tackle the Savage Divide and Toxic Valley and to do these I have used the DUSTBOWL OVERHAUL again by SPIFFYSKYTROOPER. So this mod has a massive impact on the game visually and you are left with the Fallout NV styled desert....
