Hi guys,

In this video we take a look at some NEW details relating to the Fallout 76 Beta. We have been waiting for some official information from Bethesda about this for a while now, and we FINALLY have it. The beta is going to be released in October (we don't have an exact date) but it will be available first on Xbox One then PS4 and PC.

Hi guys, so we have finally been given some new information about the Fallout 76 beta although we still don't have an exact date. Thanks to a tweet that Bethesda posted on their twitter page, we now have confirmation that the beta will be coming out in october, first on Xbox 1, then PS4 and PC. There is also a link at the bottom of the tweet to a post on the bethesda forum in which the user jurrassica gives quite a bit of information. I'm going to read just the information I think is most important. So they say

"Starting in October we’ll be selecting people who have pre-ordered the game from a participating retailer to enter our B.E.T.A. We’ll start small and grow over time as we prepare for launch. Be sure you’ve read our F.A.Q., for details on how to redeem your B.E.T.A. code and other important details.

EDIT: To clarify, everyone who pre-orders at a participating retailer will be included in the B.E.T.A."

Then later on in the post it is mentioned that any other questions you have about Fallout 76 are going to be answered at the Fallout 76 Panel at Quakecon which is going to be on Saturaday the 11th August. I will be making another video that will give you a bit more detail on the Quakecon event.

Yeah so starting in October specific users will get access to the beta first before it becomes open to everyone, so I guess they're thinking of now doing multiple smaller beta's. But don't worry if you have pre-ordered the game you will 100% be part of the beta. And just to put your mind at ease, Pete Hines released a tweet confirming that '"all people who have pre-ordered, get in.'"

Now obviously one of the big issues that has sprung up from this new information on the beta is that it has been advertised as 'break-it-early' so obviously a lot of people are a bit concerned that October is too late to 'break it'. Someone in this reddit post said it's more like break-it last minute which I think is quite funny.

If you take a look at the reddit post, the link is the description, you will see that quite a lot of people are a bit annoyed. However you could argue that bethesda have stated break-it early and October still technically early, so they haven't advertised false information.
