Geting a public workshop with acces to 3 junk piles seems to be the easier way to get screws, gears and other little junk items.
This guide is made from about 10 other guides so you have all the info you need to build a base, use it, some locations, minimum building and the efficient way of doing it and also where to find materials to start the farming. The adhesive farming is necesary because like the nuclear material and screws....you need a lot of it to main your gear and advance in the game. If you are playing without a team you need to be 5x times better than people who play in a team just to advance in the game.
