Fallout 76 begins in earnest as The Granite Accidents (well, two of them) check out the B.E.T.A. access version. Gremdavel and I search the wastes of West Virginia.

Along the way, we learn how looting works in Fallout 76 Multiplayer. And we see if a Protectron can stand up to a machete. Join us as we team up for some Fallout 76 BETA multiplayer action!

FALLOUT 76 – OUR FUTURE BEGINS… TOGETHER IN B.E.T.A.!
Starting today, the Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. (Break-It Early Test Application) will be available on all platforms, including PlayStation 4 and PC in addition to Xbox One. The servers will be online from 7:00 p.m. ET (4:00 p.m. PT) to 11:00 p.m. ET (8:00 p.m. PT). Once the first B.E.T.A. session has ended, we’ll take the servers offline to make any necessary fixes and improvements before bringing them back online. Keep an eye on @Fallout and @bethesdastudios on Twitter as well as the Bethesda.net forums and our Bethesda.net Status Page to learn when servers will be online over the coming days.

During the B.E.T.A. one of our primary goals is to stress test and break the game. As such, the servers will not be running 24/7; instead, they’ll be online during targeted timeframes so we can get as many people as possible playing at the same time. Why? Because that’s the best way to put all our systems to the test and see how they respond.

On any given day, the game might be online in blocks of time ranging from two to eight hours long. Additionally, there will be times when the B.E.T.A. is offline for a full day or two while we review data from the previous test and work to make adjustments as needed.

Focusing as many players as we can into these windows is our prime objective. Then, we’ll fix what we need to fix and do it again and again from the start of B.E.T.A. until a few days before launch. We’ll give you as much heads-up as possible, because we need you to log in during these times and play the game.

While the adventures you and your friends will experience will all be unique, you’ll start the same as everyone else: within the safe confines of Vault 76 on Reclamation Day.
