Fallout 76 continues as we head deeper into the Mire with the task of complete the scorched detection system. But it seems that finishing the system is a lot more complicated than first anticipated as we have to visit both Rose and Charleston as well.

Fallout 76 was released on November 14, 2018, and is Bethesda Game Studios' first online multiplayer in the Fallout Series with public dedicated servers. Players can go solo or work in a team with up to 3 players.

Players can also trade with each other and also use voice chat and emote to communicate with each other. Elements from past Fallout games have been brought back but modified to work with a real-time system. One example of this is V.A.T.S. This system was modified to use real-time, But the player is still able to target body parts.

Another change to Fallout 76 is the SPECIAL System. at the start of the game, players start with 1 in each SPECIAL stat. As the player levels up they can spend points to boost their attributes from one up to a max of fifteen. Players are then able to invest in perk cards to get bonuses to gameplay or passive abilities. the cards can be merged together to create more powerful variants, But more expensive.

Fallout 76 does not feature any Human Non-player characters (NPC's). This change is a first for the series and Bethesda used a combination of Robots, Terminals, Notes, Recordings in the form of Holotapes and also Environmental Storytelling to tell the story of Fallout 76. These elements have been used before in previous Fallout games but separately from the main storyline.

The CAMP system is new and is based on Fallout 4's settlement system. It allows players to take their base with them instead of it being in a fixed position. Each structure is saved and removed from the game whenever the player is offline and if the structure is attacked by another player in-game the structure is preserved to prevent progress loss.

Late Game events see the player using nuclear weapons to alter the game world. After acquiring launch codes amongst other items the player can access a missile silo and launch a missile at either the Scorchbeast nest drawing the queen or at a random area on the map (except for an area around Vault 76) spawning in high-level enemies and also rare loot.
