This video looks at the wendigo in west virginia, and it's depiction of it in fallout 76. Fallout 76 has a lot of interesting new creatures to discover and interact with some more hostile than others, alot of which appear to have been taken from west virginia folklore. Therefore in this video we will look at what exactly the Wendigo is and why it shows up in west virginian folklore and how it is portrayed in fallout 76.

Fallout 76 has sort of it's own mythology that parralells our real world mythology. In this mythology the Wendigo is described similiar to that of a man eating cannibal that craves human flesh. In Fallout 76 the Wendigo is a mutated cannibal, who was over exposed to the radiation after the bombs droped.

We will look at the Wendigo legend as it's been described in Folklore and we will also look at the Wendigo in fallout 76. We will talk about where you can find the mothman, whether he is a friend of foe, as well as his physical characteristics and variants.
