Fallout 76 has sort of it's own mythology that parralells our real world mythology. In the mythology the Flatwoods Monster it is described as a passive huminoid Alien creature that crashed it's spaceship in the hills of Flatwoods West Virginia. In Fallout 76 the Flatwoods Monster is described as an agressive alien with super advanced technology and abilities that is found wondering around the worldspace likely looking for it's space craft, or it's UFO.
