Fallout Lore: Gojira The Giant Gecko
4,739Giant creatures are nothing new to the Fallout universe, through radiation and FEV, mutations have run rampant, Super Mutants, Scorpions and Mirelurks all have a Giant version for us to fight, but there is one who we never got to face, and that is Gojira the Gigantic Gecko. Geckos were first introduced to the series in Fallout 2 in a variety of forms, roughly the size of a person, and then brought back in Fallout: New Vegas with a slightly larger appearance, yet even that was nothing compared to the size of Gojira, the largest and most powerful fire breathing Gecko and creature to ever roam the Mojave Desert. The oversized reptile was created by animator Seth McCaughey for his own amusement, specifically to terrorize the NCR soldiers at Camp McCarren. Sadly, Gojira was never meant to exist and was removed from the final version of the game, however, we can bring Gojira back using console commands, and witness what it would have been like to encounter Godzilla in Fallout New Vegas.
