Fallout Lore Dog and God

This video will discuss Dog, God, Nightkin, The Master, Father Elijah, The Courier, Mojave, Sierra Madre Casino and Resort, Dean Domino, Christine Royce, Gala event, Dead money and the Good Ending of the DLC.

The human that Dog and God once was, is suspected to have come from one of the Vaults that the Master targeted during his reign in California, Unity would have captured him and transformed him with the vats of FEV stored at Mariposa. After that he went on to become one of the Masters elite, and after years of stealth boy abuse, his skin turned a muddled blue and his mind fractured, but this was something the Master was able to control through telepathy, and it was only after the Masters defeat at the hands of the Vault Dweller, did the Nightkin truly break. With the Master gone and his voice no longer penetrating their minds, something that was a great comfort to them, new voices and sometimes new alters appeared to replace him, Tabitha has Rhonda, Lily has Leo, Davison has Antler and whoever this particular Nightkin was, now had Dog, although that name had yet to be given for quite some time. Dog was a slavish, childlike character of pure instinct, built from the conditioning the Master bred. Wandering the wastes Dog found himself pursuing the need to satiate his uncontrollable hunger. The ravenous hunger that was borderline gluttonous, had Dog consuming anything he could, including other mutants, mangling and twisting their bodies, stuffing himself full until he could eat no more, only to relapse the next day and while Dog knows it is wrong, he simply cannot help himself, but there was someone who wanted to try. Not a Master as he sought, but a voice, his subconscious voice of reason that to begin with, was small, and delicate, and suggestive, but the hunger was all consuming and the voice was easily forgotten. But as the years went on, the voice slowly became louder, more controlling and intrusive, all the while the search for a new Master continued. Some Nightkin became their own Master, others followed, while very few found new ones, including Dog who found his in the unlikely form of a human, Elijah, a rogue Brotherhood of Steel Elder.
It’s not known where these two met, but I suspect it was during one of Elijah’s trips between his bunker in the Mojave and the Sierra Madre Casino and Resort. Elijah saw the servitude that the Nightkin so desperately sought and also seeing the potential he possessed, put him to work and named him Dog for his loyal nature. Dog began travelling to the many mantraps that Elijah had set, capturing, collaring and eventually carrying victims to the Sierra Madre, where they would forcefully help Elijah crack the casino, or die trying, little did Dog know that he too was a prisoner...
