Fallout: New Vegas Single-Segment Permadeath Full Game Run | No speedstrats or console commands
3This run (which occured 2 February, 2022) was done intended as a single-segment perma-death run, on the default settings, without using save scumming, console commands, mods (see below) or any other assistance other than the vanilla game.
In this run you might be thinking: man, strimer. How are you so slow? I've seen this game beaten in 20 minutes! Yeah. Those are speedruns. I too will someday speedrun this. But right now, I don't know how to do the glitches and strats and haven't had time to learn them. This afforded me the perfect opportunity to try this for fun without the luxury of knowing the strats. The ONLY things I knew going into this run, that were permadeath-specific strats I used, were preparing for the speech checks at the end (this was my 2nd attempt; my first attempt's first death was to the final Legate) and knowing how to revive ED-E (who, along with Veronica, did most of the heavy lifting)
Played on a Windows 10 PC using an X-Box One controller.
