We're taking a huge risk by making so many babies at once, but I feel the need to tackle this in the best way I know how...

Pair up my dwellers, then save and exit, coming back to move them to their rooms after the deed. It's hard to accomplish this when you're constantly being attacked. For one, it sometimes interrupts the mating if the barracks is in the line of fire. It also means you're going to waste stimpaks healing up your dwellers for this.
