Fan Hack Playthrough: A rushed Sonic hack
2Welcome to a rushed Sonic hack.
This hack isn't all that impressive all things considered it's just a simple pallet and level design hack of Sonic the Hedgehog for the Genesis/MegaDrive it only consists of the Cold Gates Zone which has the usual 3 acts.
This game was made by Unlimited Trees, the game has music by Joenick.

"Hello all. It is I, Unlimited Trees, creator of a shitty Sonic 2 hack (Sonic 2 But With More Level Design), an unfunny meme hack (Pepsi in Sonic 1), a game nobody liked gameplay wise (Unlimited Trees' Sonic 1), and a shitty experiment (Open World Experiment), and I'm back for an equally shitty game. This time, however, there's no extra thing attached. There's no extremely big (and awful) level design (I hope), no shitty memes, and no pace-breaking gimmicks in the level. It's just your average Sonic 1 level edit with some minor art changes aswell as music changes.
This hack is three acts long. It has some art changes, some music changes, and some engine changes. Nothing too basic, nothing too advanced. Just your average, run of the mill, bland, Sonic the Hedgehog ROM hack. In each act, there are multiple hidden emerald monitors. They do nothing beyond play a sound, but see if you can find them all.
This was originally going to be a Kaizo-like hack (with one of the zones being leftover, but it requires a Game Genie code), but I decided to not do that and instead rush out a bland hack. I was planning on having more art and other things, but time constraints and hacking being a chore cutted some planned things out. Probably for the best, I don't know. Anyways, I've been pretty fustrated over everything right now, so I decided to make this shitty hack so I can get my mind off of other shit.
That is all. Go away. I need time to rest after spending endless amounts of time on that Unlimited Trees' Sonic 1 game."
