♫FANTASM SOLDIER/FRASH OF SWORD (Valis) SNES Arrangements - NintendoComplete
101Here are a couple of arrangements of tracks from Telenet's 1986 game Valis: The Fantasm Soldier (Mugen Senshi Valis/夢幻戦士ヴァリス). They have been arranged for native playback on SNES hardware, and the audio was recorded directly from a launch-model SNES deck.
The first track, "The Fantasm Soldier," is the game's title theme. The second (at 1:38), "Frash of Sword," is the BGM from the first stage. I based these arrangements primarily on the CD remixes that were created for the 1992 PC Engine remake of the first Valis game. The soundtrack is good no matter which version you're playing, but the PCE version is my easily my favorite of the bunch.
