So, a new glitch has been discovered, and one that has been in use since the dawn of FL's release that no one has ever even seemed to notice.

The effects "Attack+X" and "Magic Attack+X" (X being a number that it supposedly increases [Magic] Attack by) have been discovered to actually increase the respective value by DOUBLE the number they should increase it by, but only while you have a weapon equipped (unarmed combat is not affected by this glitch).

For example, using Mystery Hat which has Magic Attack+30, while only shown in the status screen to increase Magic Attack by 30, will actually have an effective increase on magic damage as if you had +60 more Magic Attack.

This means that such things as the 4 goddess statue Attack+30 weapons and helms effectively have 30 more [Magic] Attack than shown, Odin's Gauntlets give an effective +30 Attack, and the Mysterious set gives an effective total increase of +140 Magic Attack rather than +70, to name a few examples. Attack+20 Djinn Talisman (total of Attack+50 effect) actually gives an effective increase of +100 Attack.

In this video, I demonstrate how the damage I deal with my Magic is affected, with and without having gear with Magic Attack+ effects on them. With 300 Magic Attack (with 100 of that coming from Magic Attack+ total on my gear), my damage deals vastly more damage than having 300 Magic Attack without any Magic Attack+ effects, and in fact deals the same amount of damage I would deal if I had 400 Magic Attack without any Magic Attack+ effects, which is effectively dealing the damage that having 100 more points of Magic Attack would be giving me.

Note that this effect also works for physical attack as well. Magic Attack was just simpler for me to show off because I can get a nice, even 100 points of Magic Attack from the gear I had onhand.
