I've since played a bit more of Far Cry 3's multiplayer, and come to find that a couple of other game modes are available as well, each rather familiar (objective point capture mode, etc), giving the game a bit more variety than I initially took it for. Nothing remarkably inspired, but solid fun nonetheless.
