Far Cry 5’s First DLC “Hours of Darkness” Goes Back to the Jungle

Far Cry 5’s first DLC is a throwback in more ways than one. Called "Hours of Darkness," it follows the war story of Wendell Redler, a Hope County veteran.
You’re back in the jungles of Vietnam and your mission goes horribly wrong when your helicopter is shot down and you’re taken prisoner. It’s time to kick ass. (You know, shoot the bad guys, save the helpless.)
This DLC also throws back to rewarding stealthy action. For each undetected kill, you gain a perk. These will include faster movements, greater detection ability and taking less fall damage. But if you’re detected just once, all your perks go away and you’ll have to build them up again.
You also have the ability to call in air strikes. Gain them by liberating section. But you aren’t able to use them when there’s an AA gun nearby.
You’re not necessarily alone. Each POW you rescue can be fight alongside you. But watch out, they only have one life with permadeath. Also available is the ability to play online co-op with a buddy.
And lastly, most of your perks from the story mode carry over to your character in "Hours of Darkness."
