Temple of Batari

In order to start the next quest, you need to have Mammoth Rider as a skill in order to break through Batari’s defenses. You can also use any of your beasts that you can ride if you have them.

As you near the area, you’ll find a young mammoth along the pathway, so get on it and then ride forwards, following the yellow marker on your minimap. As you go through the area, there will be some Izila that you can kill if they are giving you trouble.

Eventually you’ll come to a jail cell that houses a Wenja, break the gates and untie him to speak to him. He’ll tell you to get the other Wenja in the southern-eastern part of Oros out of their own jails so that we can all attack the Izila together. At this point, there are three locations you can go to in order to free the captured Wenja. Every single area is the same, just invade the Izila camp (kill them all if you want to) just be sure to free the captured Wenja in each area and untie them. Once you’ve done this all three times, you’ll need to meet the Wenja outside of Batari’s temple, so head over to where the yellow minimap marker is.

Once you’re there, talk to the Wenja. Then, cut the ropes as indicated by the yellow minimap markers by interacting with them. After that you will have to kill some Izila enemies on the other side of a bridge so they don’t hurt the Wenja who are pushing some logs. After they finish, you’ll put on Krati’s mask and storm Batari’s temple by following the yellow markers on your minimap. Once you enter the cave, take note of all the supplies in this area. Be sure to stock up if you are low on them, as it might help in the coming fight. As you get close to a really bright gate, a cutscene will occur in which your mask will break and you will have to fight Batari.

First thing’s first, head to the left and you’ll find a small area with a horn and a cave lion. Kill the cave lion (maybe not necessary but I did it just to be safe) and break the horn. Then, head to the middle area so you can actually see Batari. This beginning section of the fight requires you to break the wooden statues that are located near her. You can do this through any of your weapons but it’s recommended you use your bow and arrows. Once you break one, Batari will call for some Izila reinforcements. Just kill them while not being in Batari’s range so she can’t fire arrows at you and you’re good. Once you’ve killed all the enemies and destroyed all the statues, you can actually hit Batari now for some damage. The best way to do this is to use your bow and arrows again. If you run out of wood, you’ll be able to find Ader Wood along with some arrows around the area so don’t worry about spamming your arrows. Using Spears is also recommended, but they can be hard to hit.

After she reaches around half her health, she’ll call for more reinforcements. Defeat them again and you’ll be able to attack Batari once more. However, a small note would be that this new wave of enemies will include some Izali that throw fire bombs at you, so be careful around any of the fire in the area. Continue hitting Batari until she reaches around a quarter of health remaining. Once more, she will call upon some reinforcements. It will be similar to the last wave, so deal with them and then continue to attack Batari. One last time, she will call upon reinforcements at around an eighth of her health remaining. There will only be a few this time around however as Batari herself will come down and try and kill us from a closer range. After you kill Batari, there will be a slightly gruesome cutscene so be prepared for that. Once it’s over, another cutscene will play out in which you and Tensay get spirit high on more life juice. When you wake up the quest will be completed and you’ll have finished all of the story quests in the game! Congratulations! Now you can go on to finish any specialist missions that you have not done or go around the world of Oros obtaining all of the collectibles in the game!
