Far Cry Primal CHALLENGE: minimum % needed to complete story - 1/2
4What is the lowest % you can complete Primal with? That's the question I wanted to find an answer to. Challenge was of course done on Expert Survivor Permadeath. It was fun to come up with creative ways for avoiding % especially when it came to animals since a lot of skins was needed, and in some missions the game wants you to get rid of animals.
A brief explanation of what was necessary:
- 3,68% from 12/13 stories: these were needed to complete the story
- 0,61% from 2/2 forts: they are required for story
- 0,3% from 1/31 outposts and bonfires: Mamsa shaja bonfire is automatically conquered when Ull is killed. The others can be ignored, but that meant I had very few fast travel points available.
- 2,45% from 8/16 hut upgrades: every character needs 1 hut except Takkar who needs 0 and Da who needs 2 to get his last story mission. With no Takkar's cave built, I didn't have Sprint Forever skill.
- 1,22% from 4/24 weapons: bow and club are crafted in intro, club upgrade is given by Sayla and bait is unlocked in Beast Master mission. Kapala shard is a Ubisoft reward freely available and doesn't count so it was nice to have that on my small arsenal.
- 1,84% from 6/42 killed and tamed animals: owl and white wolf are tamed in missions, then you need to tame 3 more animals to unlock Apex Predator skill which is needed to tame brown bear that is required in Urki's new stink. You can avoid killing all animals but that required creativity!
- 1,84% from 6/10 major locations: the locations (Mash Baya Rocks, Nasan Run Valley, Udam Homeland, Great Prashrawa, Suxli's Altar, Blajiman Stones) come from story missions. Only major location I specifically had to avoid was Prashrawa's birth which is on the way to Tinsay's cave.
0 Beast master hunts and collectibles were needed.
