Two small boxes. Two games that seem straightforward. Except both with a little twist. Spoilers though cause not everyone will like them either!

Faraway is a card driven set collection, point buffet card game. Faraway's twist is the scoring, unituitive right to left tallying of your tableau after being built.
Tricktakers's is well....a tricktaking game of usual trump proportions. Tricktaker's twist is the asymmetric rotating roles with only 3 rounds to conquer your opponents.

Both are the reasons that I've got a feeling that they very well may end up being some of my favorites (i.e. top 10) of 2024 already.
