After some much needed R and R at the Hot Springs (and Adi learning about the art of peeping thanks to Firrus, hehe), the group resume their journey to the Red Tribe Village ruins to look for clues about Artifact Igni's whereabouts.
When they arrive, to their surprise, they find no ruins, but instead a busy, bustling town full of life. So, they decide to investigate the local inn to gather more information. The Inn Keeper tells them that this place is the Town of Carmen, built over the Red Tribe Village ruins. Weary from the long journey, the team decide to stay the night.
As the team prepare to settle in, Firrus notices a young girl crying in the lobby and goes to comfort her. She introduces herself as Lia and explains to Firrus that she is looking for her lost cat. Firrus and Lia go all over town looking for the cat, but with no luck.
As nightfall approaches, the team get some sleep. However, a turn of events reveal that this town and its folk are not what they seem to be.......
