More of the best indie games from Randomise User! In this episode of Starbound Frackin' Universe, we play a psionic blast character to test out the research system introduced in version 6 of FU since our last season of episodes.

This time we abandon the crystalline planet from last time, decide all the other planets in the system have terrible weather and sod off to a nearby star to set up a base on an Ocean planet desert island.

Our base is made of wood and glass this time, which means farming for a lot of trees, including apple trees so we can turn apples into juice, methanol and ultimately hydrogen for ship fuel.

We get to grips with the recently changed gene system where seeds now only give one sort of gene, which allows us to unlock stuff. We set up our greenhouse, growing trays and sprouting tray, and begin to grow food and hops to help us unlock the distillery still.
