As long as you haven't caught Giratina yet, just bring a pokemon that can one- or two-shot it to start the fight. Defeat Giratina, get your experience, and also notice your health and PP are refilled! Leave the cave, come back, and Giratina has respawned to be fought all over again!
I only used Samurott in this video to use reliable moves that'd defeat Giratina quickly, but you can use something like Dialga with Roar of Time to one-shot it with a small chance of missing!
This was discovered on one of my recent Twitch streams by accident when I was just trying out the fight for the first time and defeated Giratina in one attack. Instead of resetting, one of my viewers noticed I got experience and I noticed my pokemons' health and PP were restored!
