Just tried out Void War by Tundra, and I’ve got to say—I have no idea how they were allowed to make this, but it’s essentially a darker, grittier version of Faster Than Light (FTL).

In the demo, I ran into a bunch of different factions like Cultists, Imperials, Rebels, and a few others I might be misremembering.

But what stood out to me was how the game captures that classic FTL feel while adding its own unique atmosphere and style.

It DOES feel like a ripoff but it seems like a really well-done one (lol). I genuinely loved it.

I do hope the original FTL devs are cool with it.

Anyway, every core feature from FTL seems to be in Void War, and honestly, I’m at a loss for what else to say—it's all there.

If you’re a fan of FTL, this game is absolutely worth checking out. Really excited to see the full release!
