Faster Than Light (FTL) Gameplay Full Run in 90Min
FTL falls into the category of "Roguelikes" games, whose gameplay principle is reminiscent of the role-playing classic Rogue, which was also the first Diabloin-inspired game. In FTL, however, we do not hunt monsters, but take command of a spaceship that is being chased across the galaxy by an entire rebel fleet.
But how does FTL play itself? With our spaceship, which we select and christen at the start of the game, and a crew that can grow or shrink as the game progresses, we start at one end of the galaxy and have to reach the other. To do this, we cross several sectors, each containing a few dozen star systems.
Similar to Master of Orion 2, we move back and forth between the systems, with the exit to the next sector waiting at the other end of the sector map. With every turn, however, the rebel fleet that is following us moves further and further into our sights. So we can stop exploring comfortably.
