FAULTY PS1 Laser | Can We Repair/Fix? Part 4

In this video we dissemble a PlayStation One console. Someone had suggested that the reason the PS1 disc wasn't registering was because of a potentially faulty laser, so it was advised to give it a clean with some isopropyl alcohol to see if that fixes it. Does it?
