不動明王傳是FC主機上第一款3MB ROM容量的遊戲，承襲同社遊戲影子傳說的系統，跳躍的幅度與距離需要一些練習，不熟悉的話容易掉到坑內，身上沒帶黃金孔雀就直接掉一命。
般若門盡量的進去，不管是天國界或地獄界都有攻擊與輔助系的道具，念縛與雷神較重要，這兩種道具越多BOSS更易攻略，風神也不錯但打BOSS不痛，飛翔是趕路用。
每個關卡過關後拿到的武器對應下一關的敵人，要注意的是3-4的BOSS只能用大念動波（核能）來打，其他武器無法造成破盾與傷害。
