RR Stands for "Reverse Recruitment" which means that the characters join the player in the opposite order than they normally do, so Hector who is the first character to join you in HHM and Athos who is the last swap when they join and get automatically level up or down to the level of the other unit.

However this patch actually counts from the start of Lyn Mode instead of the start of Hector mode, which means that Athos will be Lyn, and the main lord of Hector Hard Mode will be Heath.
