Gameplay: 2:00

For anyone that hates long intros, just skip to around the 2:00 mark...

The second part of my walkthrough...I found a couple of solutions to the problems I was having previously with this game, namely the FOV being too close and the controller sensitivity being way too high, due to the mouse acceleration...it runs near perfect for me now except for the lagging fps issues but I think that's due to the hard drive the game's installed on or perhaps it's my aging GPU...I'll reinstall this game on an SSD,hopefully that will resolve the stuttering and lagging issue,if not,I'll have to just lower the in game resolution or reset the Oculus Quest 2 back to it's native default setting of 72 hertz and recommended resolution...anyways,I left some instructions below on how to fix the above mentioned issues,if anyone else is also playing or interested in playing this classic horror gem via Vorpx...enjoy:-)

FOV Increase: 1.Just simply go into whichever drive or directory your Fear 2 game is installed and find steamapps/common/FEAR2
2. in the main folder, find and locate autoexec.cfg and right click on it and then edit with notepad,
directly under DisableMaterialsFromFile 1, change the numerical value of FovY AND FovYWidescreen
to a value of anywhere between 90-100...for me I found 95 to be the sweetspot,if you have trouble
retaining these settings, meaning if it keeps reverting back to it's initial default value, then simply after saving the setting, right click on autoexec.cfg, select properties and tick the read only box next to attributes...

Mouse acceleration issue: 1.click onto the link below and download the file named"'X3DAudio1_5.dll'
2. simply unzip the file with either 7zip or WinRar and click and drag the file into the game's main folder....a simple way of locating the game's main folder is to right click on the game in Steam,
click on properties/local files/browse....put the file in there...voila,easy peasy....enjoy:-)
