4Happy spooky season! I promised I'd do this one this year, and now it's time to square up. F.E.A.R. may be a high-octane first-person shooter, but it manages such a thick atmosphere of dread and malevolence that it manages to scare, and kind of frequently! On a first playthrough, at least. Monolith's always been good at creating an atmosphere.
Remember Half-Life 2 and Doom 3? Imagine if they had a baby, and that baby was Akira, but it John Woo directed it.
Does that hurt your brain? That's probably just Alma's psychic interference. You're probably about to keel over.
