Feebas Friday Fishing - Square shiny hunt in Pokémon Ruby using RNG Manipulation
4Join me in the RNG manipulation shiny hunt! I used the Feebas Tile calculator tool (Link: https://mucksw.github.io/Feebas-Tile-Calculator/ ) to determine my Feebas tiles on my German Ruby cartridge. That's right, it's Feebas hunting time again! So naturally, I will try to get as many shiny Feebas as possible! Some shiny Carvanhas might appear instead... But this time, we can get square shiny Feebas!
Due to this being an RNG Manipulation hunt, it's not the usual process of soft resetting until I get lucky. I deduced my trainer ID and secret ID mathematically by using the guide found on smogon's website. This means that should I input these values into a RNG program like Pokéfinder, I am able to guess with absolute precision what kind of Pokémon will be generated on each frame.
No Action Replay or any other cheating software is used. The only software used are the complementary help tools (Eontimer, and Pokéfinder).
The streaming software used is OBS. I record footage using a Dazzle.
