0Developed by Shimada Kikaku and originally published by Hudson Soft, Felix the Cat is a charming 8-bit NES platformer. Controlling Felix, you set out to rescue your girlfriend Kitty from the Mad Professor by using magic which upgrades from a boxing glove to a full on tank!
The version I streamed came by way of Limited Run Games. I got the classic edition that came in an NES box. I have the original cartridge in my collection and it's one of my favorite games on the console. It's an easy game, far from the "NES hard" games of its ilk. I did run into odd screen glitches in-between levels which was off-putting but other than that, the emulation was pretty good.
