Developed and published by Konami with additional development help from HexaDrive, Super Bomberman R is a return to the classic roots of the series. Back to the traditional cartoony look and maze-style format for the first time in 20 years. Not counting the abomination on Xbox in the 2000's.
I originally bought this game at the Nintendo Switch's launch but aside from playing a few multiplayer games online I put it aside in favor of Breath of the Wild. I finally decided to go back a play this and I'm glad I did. While far from perfect, I had a ton of fun playing this game. Konami supported it with a ton of free updates and skins. I used WWE Superstar Xavier Woods for my playthrough. Great music, fun game play, good music. Just a solid Bomberman game.
