Fenix Airbus A320 sightseeing Tokyo, Fuji, and the legendary Aokigahara with custom GPS waypoints
Enjoy the wonders of this flying computer!
Unfortunately I still don´t have a shutdown checklist... maybe I write my own one base on some YouTube tutorial videos.
If you want these new cockpit textures that include new integral light and some texture bumpmap and label bugfixes, and some goodies - sorry it is not yet uploaded I am still tweaking it and checking it a few days before uploading.
The performance is perfect without recording a flight, but when I record a flight hickups slowdowns and a lot of sound scratching occurs. My ancient CPU is too slow.
I made the custom waypoints with Skyvector but the Aokigahara harakiri forest waypoint was not ideal, I thought the coordinates are the beginning of the curve (like turning left or right with a car now).
That´s why I was actually not directly overflying the Aokigaraha that lies between these three lakes, but one could still see it through the cockpit window, and the fly-by of Mount Fuji was too close.
It was the first time making custom waypoints for a complete custom flight plan - the next one will be better. And more precise.
The wind cave and the ice cave were not visible from the cockpit window.
I am not fully sure if the A320 can follow my own constraints because I normally never pre-plan altitudes, but a few pilots said the altitude must always be entered manually and no VNAV by MCDU is available during cruise flight.
And too bad that the A320 is not equipped with a flight path indicator - only the A350 and A380 are. This vertical awareness display might come in handy when doing mountain climbing with an Airbus.
