So! A bit of explanation is in order here. Every now and again, I'll hold some kind of contest, with the winners (or point totals, contest depending) being able to determine some number of games for me to play. I leave it as open request, so sometimes they ask me to play really good games, and sometimes they ask me to play utter shit. The first time I did this, 90% of the things requested were things like... Menace Beach. Deadly Towers. Bokosuka Wars. Home Alone 2. Shaq Fu. And other things of that nature, which led to it being dubbed, Suffering Games. This here is the first game off of Suffering Games: Round 3.

I went back and forth as to whether or not I should upload the SNES contest itself where I had people guess a game's genre based on the title alone (while trying to pick very obscure games), but decided against uploading it, as it itself wasn't that great. The results, however, were that the chat got a number right, leading to them getting to make a lot of requests, the full list as seen here. Once again, it's a mix of genuinely good and seriously terrible games, so I have quite a bit of good stuff to look forward to amidst the terrible crap. That's how it goes with free requests, though, some people want to see everyone suffer, some want to see their favorite games played.

Anyways! All that aside, Monster Party! This game is one I consider to be pretty awesome, not so much for having amazing gameplay but more for the crazy bosses and the ridiculousness throughout. This is one that was /almost/ released in Japan, but was cancelled before it was done, so it only got a US release, thus making it one of the weirdest games that we got which Japan didn't. There's a lot more to say, but I'll save it for the next video.
