Garula has 1200 HP, and once they go under 800, he counters every damage with an attack and either an attack, Rush, or nothing. Rush inflicts the Sap status, which basically kill any character is a few seconds. Moreover, with his defense equals to 7, I can only hit him with Faris as a monk, weak spells and critical attacks, and there is no way I can beat him with these attacks without seeing 3 Rush (as he will always kill one character at the first turn).
However Garula is level 3, so with Goblin Punch Faris can deal 96 damages each turn, and I can learn the spell without any incidence in my characters levels (2-2-2-3 after Iron Claw).

Liquid Flame was a serious threat with my restrictions. He has 3000 HP, no defense (luckily for me) and dangerous counters as human and hand forms. With 3 Gravity (from Faris and Bartz) followed by 2 Blizzard, I can deal 2881 damages at best, but Liquid Flame WILL kill me with his counters before I take the 119 remaining HP (= 10 physical attacks).
However I found another strategy that works on him. Each form has its own MP (the hand form can only cast Fira 3 times and the whirlwind form 5 times) and they aren't regenerate between each transformation. Also Liquid Flame isn't immune to Charm, so my strategy was :
-Liquid Flame must not kill anyone (either with Blaze or an attack on Bartz or Faris, 50% odds) and he must transform into his whirlwind form (50%)
-Once he runs out of MP, Confuse and the two Gravity must hit (57% per Charm, 83% per Gravity)
-He must remain confuse as long as possible (I think he has 33% chance of hitting himself each turn) while Bartz Goblin Punch him, and then the other Confuse must hit (57% again)
-Goblin Punch him until he is no more confuse, then hope you can finish him with your weak fists

It was hard, but I am glad I managed to beat him with such restrictions.
