Ebot's Rock is basically the same as in BNW, but it doesn't have any encounters. If you've watched that video, you might as well skip the intro because it's exactly the same. Otherwise this segment is worth watching.

I have to be more careful with Hidon than most other bosses at this point, since some of his attacks have the potential to be dangerous, and I also want to learn Grandtrain just for kicks. Thankfully, I can abuse Hidon's AI to make him a complete scrub. If a character is dead, he will spend every turn attempting to use Chokesmoke on them to turn them into a Zombie. So if I have a dead character that is immune to Zombie status, he won't be able to do anything, except for Grandtrain. I need to have a Ribbon equipped to Mog, since the Hidonites like their status effects.

With everything in place, I need to kill all the Hidonites before killing Hidon in order to have him cast Grandtrain. It's unlikely that I'll be able to kill the Hidonites with Step Mine before killing Hidon, since there are four Hidonites and Hidon dies after three hits. However, three Hidonites aren't immune to instant death, so I can OHKO the first three and Step Mine the last one (now the odds are in my favour). I need Life 3 to survive Grandtrain, but he won't threaten Mog again after that.
