This is a playthrough of the Monomod for the PC version of Final Fantasy VII. This Mod was included in Gjoerulv's Hardcore Mod in late 2018 and I first played through it on stream in April of 2019.

The Monomod is a fun little gamplay mod, in which all your stats are fixed at a value of 1, hence the name MONO-mod. Your HP is capped at 270 and your MP at 88, once your each level 30. So, this mod drastically lowers all your stats, challenging you to find ways to still beat the game in spite of extremely low stats and even more so extremely low HP and MP. At the same time, this mod gives you various late-game gear, armor, accessories and materia, however not weapons, to boost your stats and incentivize unusual ways to go through the game. In this playhtrough, I actually end up not just finishing the game but also effectively 100%-ing it, killing the WEAPONs as well.
