This battle outside the Temple of the Ancients is a perfect representation of just how bad the battle AI is. Aerith the mage runs over to a bridge full of enemies and gets surrounded. Then Cloud does the same thing rather than focusing on enemies I'm attacking, causing Yuffie to get killed. What the hell were they thinking with this miserably broken battle system?
